If you have a nice fast Internet connection (unlike those of us in Uganda!) you might like to watch these videos, they'll give you a good idea of the work we do and life as a volunteer. They can also be found on the relevant pages throughout this site.
Working with rural primary schools, we have created a complementary learning environment for pupils based at the Amagezi Education Centre.
Busona Primary School was in an appaling state when we first went there. This video was made as a fundraising tool and we are happy to say that it worked! The school is now fully renovated and refurbished with new classrooms too.
Al-Swidiiq Primary School is one of only two Community Schools we have worked with and the only one in the Budondo Sub County. Happily we have now almost completed work on a brand new 5 classroom block there. This video was made by two volunteers from Australia and it has enabled them to raise thousands of dollars.
Leeds University has supported us for the last 4 years and every year the number of volunteers who come to work in Uganda increases as does the amount of money they fundraise. This video was made by some of the crew from 2006.
