Nalubale Rafting
Nalubale Rafting offer adrenalin filled adventure trips through Grade 5 and Grade 3, chilled out family trips and even an epic 8 day nile rafting expedition.
Their beautiful accommodation at Bujagali, Nile River Camp, is a firm favourite with SPE volunteers and is the only campsite with its own swimming pool with discounts available for all SPE volunteers!
Nile River Explorers
Nile River Explorers offer a wide range of adrenalin rush activities as well as those for the more sedate! They have supported us from day one and offer discounts on both accommodation and activities to Soft Power Volunteers.
Nile Horseback Safaris
Nile Horseback Safaris offer rides on beautiful horses through spectacular countryside along the banks of the River Nile, through tea plantations and also offering overnight safaris. A 10% discount is available for Soft Power Volunteers.
Kayak the Nile
Kayak the Nile is the company to contact if you are keen to combine volunteering with throwing yourself through the mighty rapids of the Nile. They have always supported us and in particular with locally organised fundraising events.
All Terrain Adventures
All Terrain Adventures Uganda has been operating since June 2002. They are based at the main gate to Bujagali Falls, ‘East Africa’s Centre for Adventure’. From there they have taken thousands of people on their unique quad bike safaris, along the banks of the River Nile and into the warm heart of rural Uganda. They also offer tailored safaris elsewhere in Uganda. “The greatest ATV safaris on the planet”.
Indulge and George's Book Exchange
Indulge is one of the newest additions to Jinja and by far one of the best places to eat in Jinja! They serve delicious sandwiches, smoothies, juices, salads, a delicious sunday roast, and lots more. Within the shop they also have George's Book Exchange. If you exchange a book you pay 1,000 shillings and that money is donated to Soft Power Education.
