Overlanding is a great way to see a lot of Africa without the hassles of finding your own way! There are now a wide range of trips on offer from 3 weeks up to several months. We are lucky that most companies pass through Jinja and stop for several days. This allows their passengers to take part in our One Day Volunteering programme. Many of these volunteers find that one day just isn't enough and come back to join our Long Term Volunteering programmes. Many of the companies offer discounts and incentives to Soft Power Volunteers and some also match the donations made by their passengers! We have a solid relationship with the overlanding world - Hannah (Soft Power Founder) used to drive for Dragoman and both Shaz and Dirk 'found' Soft Power whilst on overland trips! To date we have had over 10,000 volunteers spend one day with us and the majority of those came from Overland Trucks.
