How to Donate

With regards to making a donation please note below our bank details, if on the other hand you would love to go just one step further and set up a monthly standing order you will automatically become a Soft Power Friend- receiving a t-shirt, a project update and a couple of photos.

To give you an idea of what materials cost out here... £5 will enable us to buy a shovel or 4 litres of paint, £10 will pay the wage of a tradesman for one week, £20 would provide us with 6 tonnes of building sand, £50 a 1,000 litre water catchment tank, £100 will pay three teachers wages at one of our preschools, £1,000 (well lets not be shy) will refurbish a 2 classroom primary school block. Soft Power Education only spends money directly on its building projects, pre-school staff wages and local builders in Uganda. Without the money the work cannot be started, let alone completed. 99% of the work in the UK is done by unpaid volunteers; so none of your money is wasted on administration costs, impressive offices or cars – it reaches where it matters – the schools of Uganda. Monthly standing orders help us most by allowing us to budget. If you live in the UK, you can set one up by printing off the standing order form at the bottom of the page and posting it to us at our Suffolk address - details below.

If you live abroad you will need to contact your bank with our bank details listed below or donate via paypal.
